TROPHY BUCK: Rex Ogle of Melbourne proudly displays his massive buck harvested on Sunday, October 19. Ogle was running late for a morning hunt, with only one load in his 50 caliber muzzle loader. He arrived to his brother’s deer stand after daylight and ten minutes later the buck came by. “He came out, I whistled, he stopped, and I got him,” said Ogle. The large deer weighed almost 200 pounds. The antler spread at the widest points was 18-3/4” with the G2 tines measuring 11-1/2”. Ogle said according to Boone & Crockett, the buck is rough scored at 165, and will be entered in the Big Buck Classic in Little Rock next January, and in the Big Buck Classic in Jonesboro next February. Congratulations Rex!
