Over 150 people attended the standing room only meeting of the Municipal Recreation Improvement District (MRID) on Thursday, January 15, voicing their opinions, loudly at times, on the addition of an Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC) proposed public boat launch at Fisherman’s Park. Opponents of the project site the increase in vehicle and boat traffic, possible increase in theft and noise, and possible decrease in property values.
