ALL-STAR SWING: Viola Lady Longhorn Lakynn Brown crushes a home run against Mammoth Spring earlier this year. Brown will by playing for the East All-Stars during the Arkansas High School Athletic Association’s All-Star game at Farris field on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas. The annual Arkansas High School Association All-Star games are on tap for later this month, and Viola‚Äôs Lakynn Brown will be those that will be playing one last game of their high school career. The All-Star Game is for Seniors and will showcase the top players in the state and this year the games will be at the University of Central Arkansas. The softball All Star double header will be held at Farris Field on Tuesday, June 23 with a game time of 5 p.m. Brown, a long ball slugger off the Lady Longhorns team that made it to the semi finals of the state tournament will be playing for East All-Stars.
