The ladies from Beta Sigma Phi are selling T-shirts to raise scholarship money for a fallen Police Officer’s child. They will be selling T-shirts beginning July 4 and will sell them through Christmas. If you would like to get a T-shirt to show your support you can contact one of the ladies from Beta Sigma Phi. You can also call Mickey Spangler at 870-670-4447.The shirts sell for $15 up to XL; shirts size 2X and up are $20. The deputies stopped by the sorority’s booth at Dogwood Days to show their support. The Beta Sigma Phi ladies thank them and Izard County Judge Eric Smith for their support of this project. RAFFLE: The Franklin Extension Homemaker’s Club will be selling raffle tickets for this beautiful cross-stitch done by Sharlee Webb at their booth at Dogwood Days on Saturday, May 13 in Horseshoe Bend. Tickets are one for $1 or six for $5.

They’re coming May 9! Wrestling with Death will arrive at noon and will be ready to meet everyone from 1 to 3 p.m. Wrestling with Death is one of WGN’s latest American Reality Shows on Tuesday nights. It is about a family of professional wrestlers in Osceola, Arkansas – the Lathams – who are also in the mortuary business. Be prepared for some unexpected and exciting happenings! There is an entire fun-filled day planned. Everyone is encouraged to come to the middle of nowhere and be in the middle of everything!
