Come out on Saturday, July 11, to help the dogs and cats of Horseshoe Bend by joining in the fun at the Third Annual Bowl for the Animals Tournament sponsored by Horseshoe Lanes in Horseshoe Bend.
The bowling and good times will kick off at 11 a.m. Bowling is with teams of four people, and the entry fee is $20 per person with $15 of each fee going directly to the Friends of Horseshoe Bend Animals.
The first place winning team will receive $120 and $80 goes to the second place team.
Set up as a “9 Pin No Tap” Tournament, it is a great way to reach some high scores, spend time with good friends, and help the animals.
Pick a theme for your team; choose a name, wear matching clothes, anything to stand out in the crowd and have a great time! Area businesses and churches, please think about sponsoring a team. If you are not a bowler, sponsor a friend or a team. Sponsorships are only $5 for each bowler. If you want to bowl, but do not have a team together, we can put one together for you.
A Bake Sale featuring cakes, pies, and other baked goods will also be going on at Horseshoe Lanes during the tournament. Stop in to buy a whole cake or pie, a loaf of bread, or a pan of brownies.
Also, during the tournament “The Friends” will have a 50/50 raffle and sell raffle tickets for the Quilt Raffle being held at our Harvest Festival in November.
So it is time to get your four-person teams together, register at Horseshoe Lanes, and be prepared to have a great, cool July day while helping a good cause. Help the dogs and cats of Horseshoe Bend.
Call Horseshoe Lanes at 870-670-5606 for more information or to register.
